MeTL Group’s product portfolio consists of more than 50 of its own brands and over 200 other products sourced both locally and abroad from other manufacturers. To achieve the daunting task of delivering these goods to even the remotest of outlets, we have through careful planning, drawing on experience and paying attention to detail, developed a distribution system that is unparalleled in Tanzania.
We have a strong centralized sales and marketing division that acts as an umbrella organization for selling all the products manufactured and traded within the MeTL Group. It also ensures adequate stocks are maintained at all times. Our extensive network of over 30 branches covering all regions of the country including Dar es Salaam are fully equipped for proactive selling of our Group’s products with experienced personnel, warehousing facilities, vehicles and IT infrastructure – all essential to achieving sales targets and prompt service to our customers. These branches also act as a hub for secondary and tertiary distribution into the hinterland of the country, especially in remote areas and act as command centers for the procurement of agricultural commodities from the farm gate.
MeTL Group has a big dealership network of large wholesalers both in Dar es Salaam and up country locations. These customers are serviced by a team of highly experienced and able Relationship Sales Executives (RSEs).
Our mobile sales division consists of over 150 trucks that go on fixed routes all around Dar es Salaam and its surrounding areas daily. The aim of this service is to provide regular deliveries of products to sub-wholesale and retail outlets scattered across the city at a reasonable price. Another 100 mobile sales vehicles emanate from regional branches serving remote areas in their respective territories.
For sales and distribution of our beverage products, 100 trucks are designated to market our products in Dar es Salaam and its suburbs.

More recently, our Group has begun aggressively exporting its products to neighboring countries like DRC, Zambia and Burundi.
