we wish to inform the general public that although it is true that an award has been made by china international economic and trade arbitration commission (cietac) in favor of techlong as regards their counter-claim in a dispute between two companies regarding the supply of 3 complete units of 24,000 bph lines for csd instead of new and as per tech long standard amounting to us$ 7,143,579.00 with 3% spare parts of approximately us$ 210,000
the matter is still sub-judiced in Tanzania before the high court of Tanzania, commercial division. in these proceedings a-one is challenging the enforceability of foreign award after it has spent us$ 7,143,579.00 for purchasing 3 complete units of rusted and corroded complete units of 24,000 bph (photos are attached with this article) along with spares of approximately us$ 210,000.
we also wish to inform the general public that a-one has filed a case in high court of Tanzania commercial division vide commercial case no. 105 of 2017 against techlong. a-one is claiming us4 4,485,362.509 the case is sub-judice in the court of law.
