Star Oils Tanzania Ltd

Star Oils Tanzania is MeTL Group’s newest business venture located near Dar es Salaam’s port at Kurasini. We are currently implementing the first phase of an extensive project to store and create nationwide distribution of petroleum products through a chain of nearly 200 pump stations.

The total storage capacity of this facility upon project completion shall be 46 million litres, created solely for the storage of gasoline, gas oil and kerosene.

The bulk of these products will be marketed through MeTL Group’s retail pump stations in the city and through other selected up-country locations. The expected annual sales of over USD 300 million will represent 10-12% of the total domestic fuel market sales.

As part of our next phase, the MeTL Group will expand its facilities at Star Oils to store liquefied petroleum gas for use in domestic gas cylinders.
